The Milford Community Band rehearses every Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Lear Hall, home of the Milford Community Band, 315 Claude St. in Milford, Delaware (see map). The Dance Band and the Dixieland Band rehearse every Wednesday from 7 - 9 PM on alternate Wednesdays. We have about 50 members and play more than 25 free concerts per year. This program is made possible, in part, by grants from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.

The Milford Community Band, in conjunction with the Milford School District, is offering a "Raffle" to raise money for summer-time private music lessons for music students in grades 4 through 8. The tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00 or 10 for $15.00. Tickets will be availabale at all Middle/High School spring concerts or purchase them from any MCB member. The Grand Prize is a "Get-Away Week-end" for two at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel and dinner for two at Victoria's Restaurant, plus some other meal gift certificates.
